What is College for Carlo?
In short, it’s a fundraising initiative. I am asking you to help support me in my goal of sending Carlo Majo through a 4-year business administration degree at San Carlos University.
How can I donate?
If you are using a credit card or bank account, you can donate to College for Carlo by clicking on the donate button to the right. This is a PayPal service, which takes a small percentage of your donation, about 4%, as a service fee. To avoid this fee, please feel free to donate by check.
How can I donate by check?

How much should I donate?
This is completely up to you. Even $10 will help fund Carlo's education. But if you can afford to donate more, please do!
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Unfortunately, I am not a charity or non-profit organization, so as of today, you can't claim your donations to College for Carlo on your tax forms. Sorry!
Where does my donation go?
Your donation will be placed in a secure American bank account until it's used for a tuition payment. Payments will be made to JPIC-IDC three times a year by wire transfer. Carlo will never directly receive any of your donations. All money will be administered through JPIC-IDC's finance department and go directly to San Carlos University.
What happens to my donation if Carlo doesn't finish school?
Carlo is enrolled in the JPIC-IDC young scholars program, which closely mentors him. He is required to meet certain grade standards in order to continue in the program. Because this opportunity is so valuable to him, and because he will have the support of JPIC-IDC throughout his college education, the chances of Carlo not finishing the program are slim. However, if it should happen that Carlo not meet the required standards or is forced to drop out for other reasons, all remaining donations that have not already gone towards his tuition will be donated in full to the JPIC-IDC young scholars program, where they will help other young Filipinos complete their degrees.
